Paul D. Fraley

Paul D. Fraley, 50 of New Port Richey passed away unexpectedly November 9, 2017. He was born January 9, 1967 in Paintsville, KY. He grew up in Columbus Ohio graduating from Whitehall Yearling High School where he excelled as an athlete playing football and wrestling. In 1985 he joined the United States Marine Corp.  Paul was a proud Marine his entire life. In 1988 Paul married his high school sweetheart and love of his live Shelly Fraley.  In 1990 they made New Port Richey their home and began their beautiful journey.

In 1999 Paul earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Paul went on to enjoy a 20 year career in Law Enforcement. Working for the Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Corrections and as a Probation Officer.

They became a family in 2000 with the birth of their son David Fraley who immediately became the center of Paul’s world. Paul was an incredibly devoted father whose greatest passion was his son and greatest joy was spending time with him.  Paul was so proud of David and all of his accomplishments including his success with sports. He coached David in soccer, football and basketball. Paul considered many of the players he coached and their families his family. Paul, David and Shelly always had a special connection with the West Coast Fl Magic Families!

Those who knew Paul recognized his great physical and mental strength as well as his loyalty, wit and who can forget his real/honest demeanor.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, David D. Fraley, Mother in Law Vickie S. Lash. Paul is survived by his wife Shelly Fraley; his son David Fraley; his mother Brenda Estep; sister Kimberly Bell; Brother Duane Fraley; Brother & Sister In-Law Mickey & Amy Quigley; Brother & Sister In-Law Robert & Vicky Suarez; nieces & nephews Brittany, Christian, Caden, Kimber, Anthony, Ryan, Kyle, Summer & Preston,

Visitation Monday, November 13 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm, service from 7:30pm to 8:00pm at Faupel Funeral Home, 7524 Ridge Rd., Port Richey. Phyllis Ann Cavaliere

Phyllis Ann Cavaliere ,68 of Hudson, Florida went to be with our Lord Jesus on November 2, 2017.   She was born Phyllis Ann Lacerra in New York on July 20, 1949. She was married and had 8 children which produced 14 grandchildren. She has two surviving siblings Joey and Nicky from a family of seven children Carmine, Roseann,  George and Joann.  Phyllis loved crafts with her favorites being crocheting, quilting and flower arranging.   She loved to play card games but her favorite pass time was bingo. 

Phyllis lived for and adored her grandchildren Robert, Eric, James, Katherine, Jadynn, Giovanna, Victor, Olivia, Ariahnna, Sophia, Gabriella, Jason, Mason and Izabella.  She has joined her son Anthony and granddaughter Sophia in paradise and is survived by her children Vivian and husband Robert, Antoinette and husband Jason, Lucinda Marie and husband Gabriel, Joseph and wife Tammy, Mario and fiancé Ana, Marialena ,Victoria and Russ and best friend Louise Narducci. Her life will be celebrated in a funeral mass on Monday,

Joseph D. Santana

Joseph D. Santana age 90, of Largo, Florida formally of Detroit, Michigan passed away peacefully on Sunday September 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Celso and Lucia Banuelos and his granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Harris in 1979. Joseph is survived by Loretta, his beloved bride of 67 years whom he loved immensely and 5 children: Charlotte (Kenneth), Dody (Diane), Debra (Donald), Joseph M. (Cathy), and Susan (Randy).  In addition, he dearly loved 11 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren.

Joseph led a life rich in blessings with family and friends. Joseph served his country as a proud Marine during WW II, he had a successful career beginning as a truck driver, a profession he found very satisfying, and ending as an elected official with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 299, where he served as a trustee.  Joseph and Loretta then enjoyed 26 wonderful years of retirement at Down Yonder in Largo, Florida where they were touched by many friends.  Joseph will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

A memorial mass will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena 1955 S. Belcher Rd, Largo FL.

A second memorial celebration of his life will be held in Detroit, Michigan at a later date his final resting place will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights, Michigan.

Brian Edward Kolkowski

Brian E. Kolkowski, 48, passed away on September 22, 2017 at Medical Center of Trinity in Trinity, FL. He was born on May 26, 1969 in Queens NY, to Edward “Ed” and Linda (Deviva) Kolkowski. After moving to Florida in 1981, he was a 1987 graduate of Ridgewood High School where he played basketball and football. It was in high school that he met the love of his life, Sherri, and they were married on February 3, 1996 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in New Port Richey, FL. In 1994, Brian began working at Community Hospital of New Port Richey as a respiratory therapist and was most recently serving in the role of Manager of the Respiratory Therapy Department at the Medical Center of Trinity.

Brian was an incredibly devoted father to his daughters Erin, 18, and Kelly, 12. They, along with his beautiful wife, were his proudest accomplishments and he loved spending time with his girls. Brian also had a few other passions, most notably his Pittsburgh Steelers and his Chevy Camaro. He enjoyed being an active member of Northcliffe Baptist Church in Spring Hill. Brian was widely known as the “gentle giant,” and at 6-foot-7-inches tall, most everyone he met “looked up” to him. He never met a stranger, and was known for his sense of humor and his energized and emphatic storytelling.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Edward Kolkowski in 2006. Brian is survived by his wife, Sherri; his daughters Erin and Kelly; his mother, Linda; his sisters Debra, Karen, and Cheryl; his nieces and nephews Krystanna, Daylynn, Jimmy, Courtney, Emma, Eddie, Olivia, Sophie, Evelyn, and Ben.

Betty L. Faust

Betty L Faust, 89, passed away on September 14, 2017. She was born November 2, 1927 in Tecumseh, MI. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1945 and Cleary College in 1946. She married Carl W. Faust on May 25, 1946. They lived their married life first on Holloway Rd, Britton, then their farm on Centennial Rd, Tecumseh, then to the Holloway Rd. farm. Carl preceded Betty in death on October 8, 1991. After a fall, breaking both bones in her ankle on February 2, 2015, Betty was cared for by her daughter & granddaughter & their families until falling and breaking both wrist bones & after rehab, moving to The Villas at Sunset Bay Memory Care in New Port Richey, FL..  She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Rex) Armstrong of New Port Richey, FL, granddaughter, Leigh (Evan) DeVoe of New Port Richey, great granddaughter, Jamie, great grandson, Taylor, sister-in-law,
> Julia Jewell of Glenview, IL, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Sisson II on July 10, 2016, her brother, Charles Robert (Bob) Jewell in 1986, and her parents William Jewell in 1968 & Blanche Jewell Filter in 2000.  The Memorial Service will be September 27th at 11am at Grace Lutheran Church, 302 N. Maumee St, Tecumseh, MI with Pastor Philip Krieger officiating. Visitation preceding at 10:30am until the time of the service. Burial at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Tecumseh, MI.  Condolences may be offered to the family at

Ruth Leggio

Ruth Leggio, 95, passed away September 1, 2017. Pre-deceased by husband Anthony and daughter Susan; survived by son Michael, daughters Judy, Jo Anne, Nancy and many grands and greats.
