Ellen C. Dragon

Ellen C. Dragon (Dukes), of Trinity, FL, formerly of Harmonville, PA, passed away on March 24, 2021. She was 94. Born in Spring Mill, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Sara (Ramsey) Dukes. Ellen was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Leon T. Dragon, Sr., her two brothers, Frederick and Robert, and her sister Mary Shilling. Ellen worked in the Clerk of Courts office of Montgomery County, PA for 21 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of First Baptist Church of New Port Richey, FL, and former member of Spring Mill Baptist Church (PA), where she served in many roles, including Deaconess. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Harmonville Fire Company. Ellen loved to crochet and spend time with her family. Ellen is survived by her daughter Kathy Rudiman (Dave), with whom she lived, and sons Leon T. Dragon, Jr. (Beverley), Steven (Mary Ellen) and Ronald (Amy) and six grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Ellen will be laid to rest in George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
