Jane Gabriele Deel

Jane Deel went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 9, 2024. She was a devoted Catholic at St. James the apostle. In her life she wore many different hats, from being a candy striper at a young age she went on to graduate nursing school. She worked in many different settings including hospice and teaching future nursing students. Towards the end of her career she continued her teaching endeavors in the public school system helping pregnant and teen mothers finish there schooling with a diploma. Jane loved to read, hike, travel and volunteer her time as a girl scout leader. She found a passion for the girl scouts as a child and made sure to instill that into her children and grandchildren. More than anything Jane loved her family without measure. I think the most beautiful and important hat she wore was being a grandmother she wore that hat the best! Jane was proceeded by her husband Eric Deel , her parents Simone and Beatrice Gabriele. She was survived by her sister Cynthia and her brothers Louis and Michael. Her daughters Melissa and Jerrine and son Richard and her 6 granddaughters Rachel, Bellarose, Raiána,Amelia, Charlotte and Delilah.
