Jim Urbanski

Jim Urbanski, 72, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018. He is survived by his wife of not yet 47 years, Ruth, his two daughters, Lynn and Sarah, and his two granddaughters, Alex and Eleanor. He taught music for nearly 50 years to thousands of students, conducted countless choruses and orchestras, and led hundreds of concerts. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to The American Cancer Society or The Florida Orchestra. The family is receiving visitors at Faupel Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 24 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8, and holding a brief memorial on Thursday at 2:00 PM, January 25, also at Faupel Funeral Home.
