HASCH, Marvin E., 83, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at his home with family by his side. According to his wishes, Mr. Hasch has been taken for cremation and no immediate services are scheduled. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois with full military honors at a later date. Mr. Hasch was born April 14, 1939 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Waldo and Lenora Ann Hasch. He was united in marriage to Sharon (Tutor) Hasch on February 26, 1971 in Rock Island, Illinois. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War as an (AT1) Aviation Electronics Technician, finally achieving the rank of E-6, Petty Officer First Class and retiring after 20 years of service. He worked for (ADM) Archer Daniels Midland Company in Clinton, Iowa as an electrician and also worked as an electrician in Largo, Florida until his retirement. Marvin loved spending time with immediate and extended families, as well as dear friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling. Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 51 years, Sharon; his daughters Heidi Hasch, Kalyn Gamber, Karla Bell and Kari Teel; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldo Hasch 1903-1979, Lenora Hasch 1918-1968, a sister Margaret J. "Maggie" (Hasch) Kilker 1935-2005, and a brother William Fredrick Hasch 1937-2013. He lives in our memories and in the memories of all whose lives he has touched.
