Brian Edward Kolkowski

Brian E. Kolkowski, 48, passed away on September 22, 2017 at Medical Center of Trinity in Trinity, FL. He was born on May 26, 1969 in Queens NY, to Edward “Ed” and Linda (Deviva) Kolkowski. After moving to Florida in 1981, he was a 1987 graduate of Ridgewood High School where he played basketball and football. It was in high school that he met the love of his life, Sherri, and they were married on February 3, 1996 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in New Port Richey, FL. In 1994, Brian began working at Community Hospital of New Port Richey as a respiratory therapist and was most recently serving in the role of Manager of the Respiratory Therapy Department at the Medical Center of Trinity.

Brian was an incredibly devoted father to his daughters Erin, 18, and Kelly, 12. They, along with his beautiful wife, were his proudest accomplishments and he loved spending time with his girls. Brian also had a few other passions, most notably his Pittsburgh Steelers and his Chevy Camaro. He enjoyed being an active member of Northcliffe Baptist Church in Spring Hill. Brian was widely known as the “gentle giant,” and at 6-foot-7-inches tall, most everyone he met “looked up” to him. He never met a stranger, and was known for his sense of humor and his energized and emphatic storytelling.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Edward Kolkowski in 2006. Brian is survived by his wife, Sherri; his daughters Erin and Kelly; his mother, Linda; his sisters Debra, Karen, and Cheryl; his nieces and nephews Krystanna, Daylynn, Jimmy, Courtney, Emma, Eddie, Olivia, Sophie, Evelyn, and Ben.

Betty L. Faust

Betty L Faust, 89, passed away on September 14, 2017. She was born November 2, 1927 in Tecumseh, MI. She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1945 and Cleary College in 1946. She married Carl W. Faust on May 25, 1946. They lived their married life first on Holloway Rd, Britton, then their farm on Centennial Rd, Tecumseh, then to the Holloway Rd. farm. Carl preceded Betty in death on October 8, 1991. After a fall, breaking both bones in her ankle on February 2, 2015, Betty was cared for by her daughter & granddaughter & their families until falling and breaking both wrist bones & after rehab, moving to The Villas at Sunset Bay Memory Care in New Port Richey, FL..  She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Rex) Armstrong of New Port Richey, FL, granddaughter, Leigh (Evan) DeVoe of New Port Richey, great granddaughter, Jamie, great grandson, Taylor, sister-in-law,
> Julia Jewell of Glenview, IL, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Sisson II on July 10, 2016, her brother, Charles Robert (Bob) Jewell in 1986, and her parents William Jewell in 1968 & Blanche Jewell Filter in 2000.  The Memorial Service will be September 27th at 11am at Grace Lutheran Church, 302 N. Maumee St, Tecumseh, MI with Pastor Philip Krieger officiating. Visitation preceding at 10:30am until the time of the service. Ruth Leggio

Ruth Leggio, 95, passed away September 1, 2017. Pre-deceased by husband Anthony and daughter Susan; survived by son Michael, daughters Judy, Jo Anne, Nancy and many grands and greats.

John Randolph Miles

John Randolph Miles, 82, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away September 2, 2017.  John is survived by his wife Karen Duffy Miles of New Port Richey, his daughter Shelly (Alan) Karan, granddaughter Amber Burton, 6 great grandchildren, and a great grandson, all of Virginia. He was predeceased by his parents Robert Gibbons and Edith Clarke Miles, brothers Robert Lee Miles and Francis J. Miles, S.J., and grandsons John and Jason Register. John graduated Mount Saint Mary’s College (1957) and Georgetown Law School (1964). He served in the US Marine Corps 1957-1960. His law career spanned 24 years before he retired from O’Malley, Miles, Nylen and Gilmore in 1992. John’s dedication to his Faith led him to active participation in various ministries in his last two church parishes and interest in men’s retreats at the Loyola Retreat House. A Mass and celebration of life will be held at a future date in Maryland.


James Reid Craig Campbell

James Reid Craig Campbell, 70, passed away on August 22, 2017 in New Port Richey, FL.  Born in Chicago, Illinois, he graduated from Sarasota High School in 1964, and Stetson Law School in 1975.  He practiced criminal defense and family law for more than 40 years.  Jim lived a vibrant life embracing a love of knowledge, travel, and social justice.


Survivors include daughter Marjorie Campbell Stickel; son James Reid Craig Campbell II; granddaughters Eila Rose Stickel and Layla Sunshine Campbell; as well as a step-daughter from a prior marriage DebbieLee Marie Dougherty.  Preceded in death by mother Marjory Craig Campbell; father Heber Hale Campbell; and a stepson from a prior marriage, Raymond Anthony Smith.


Loved ones are invited to celebrate his life at a memorial service on Saturday, September 16th at 11:30 am at Faith United Methodist Church, Hudson FL, 34669.  Ashes will be scattered during a private ceremony in Sarasota, FL.

Connie Sue Bailey Perdue

PERDUE, Connie Sue Bailey 82, of New Port Richey, peacefully passed Aug. 24, 2017. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kaaren Perdue Clark and her husband, Connie Mac Perdue.  She is survived by her son, Jeffrey and spouse, Karen Perdue; daughter, JoBeth and spouse, Jay Marano; grandchildren Cooper, Cassidy, Camille, Caylonna Perdue and Noah and Luke Marano; and great grandchild Chloe Perdue. Beloved wife, mother, sister, friend, teacher, mentor and minister, who loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
