Rosalyn Hogan

Rosalyn Hogan, age 81, of Trinity, FL, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2023.  Rosalyn is predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Wylie Hogan Jr.  Rosalyn is survived by her son John Jacobs Jr. and his wife Lori; daughter Allison Powell and her husband Chuck; grandchildren Ross Jacobs and Carson Jacobs; and several cousins and other relatives.

 

Rosalyn Hogan was born in Union Springs, AL, to Curtis and Olene Holmes.  She graduated from Union Springs High School in 1959 and the University of Alabama in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.  She later earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Georgia State University.  Rosalyn taught school for many years in Gwinnett County, GA.  She taught at Grayson Elementary School before spending most of her career at W.C. Britt Elementary School in Snellville, GA, where she was a beloved teacher.  Many former students and teachers fondly remember her.
