Ruth Ann Masters

Ruth Ann Masters, age 75, passed away on December 11, 2023  at Gulfside Hospice in New Port Richey, FL.

Ruth was born in Stanton, MI on May 17, 1948, the daughter of the late Everett and Shirley Linderman. She graduated from Central Montcalm High School and later attended Delta College. She married Chris Masters on October 18, 1986 and he predeceased her. 

Ruth is survived by 3 children, Brian (Cindy) Brigham, Midland, MI; Laura (Thomas) Bevan, San Francisco, CA, and Tina Brigham, Hudson, FL; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her first husband, Robert Brigham (d. 1982).

Ruth is known by her family and friends as having a quick wit and a great sense of humor. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her strong love for her family. Ruth was blessed with a flair for creativity. Whether decorating her home, making crafts and woodworking, designing her flower gardens, or playing golf, she took care to do things with style. Ruth enjoyed volunteering for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Democratic Party of Michigan.

After retiring, Ruth and Chris purchased a home in Hudson, FL where they spent the winter months. Ruth resided there with her daughter and her dog, Baby, at the time of her passing.

A private graveside service is planned for May 17, 2024 in Stanton, MI.
