Tony Lamar Benton, 55, passed away on October 17, 2024, in New Port Richey, FL at North Bay Hospital. Tony formerly resided in Paducah, KY where he was born and raised. Tony was a member of Mt. Marriah Baptist Church where he served as a junior deacon which developed his first passion, his love for YAHWEH! Tony graduated high school from Paducah Tilghman High School. Upon graduation, he attended West Kentucky and received a degree in electronics.

At a young age Tony showed love and passion for music. Later, this passion led him to start the first rap group to show success out of Paducah, Secret Service. YAHWEH then led him to leaving Paducah to pursue his love for music. Tony’s natural talent took him to many different places which led him to work with several well-known musicians.

Tony was first and foremost a man of YAHWEH! The second most important thing in his life was his family. Tony was a loving kind-hearted man who would give anyone anything if he could. Tony was a great loving husband to his wife of 22 years, Regan Benton. Together they shared & had two wonderful sons whom he was tremendously proud of, Jordan Lajon Lones-Benton and Jamal Michael Benton. He is survived by his wife and children, his mother, Stella Benton of Paducah, Ky, His brother Michael Benton of Paducah, Ky, and many in-laws and relatives who will all miss him dearly. He was met at the gates of Heaven by his father Redell Benton. Tony was an amazing father, husband, and man and he will be remembered and missed profoundly, especially by Miss Minnesota.

Tony will also be remembered for being a Proud Spelling Champion.
